Welcome to Sister Shirley’s Seasonings and More, where every meal is seasoned with love, faith, and family.
Our brand was inspired by our beloved mother, Shirley “Mama Bow” Buckner, whose love for Jesus was reflected in everything she did. Alongside our father, Joseph “Daddy Joe” Buckner, she lovingly raised six children and filled our home at 5434 Maple Street with homemade meals, heartfelt prayers, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
Mama believed that bringing people together around the table was one of the greatest expressions of love. Her kitchen was a place where everyone was welcome, holidays were treasured, and every meal was prepared with care.
To honor her legacy, we created 5434 Maple Street Cookbook: Recipes, Memories & Faith from Mama’s Kitchen, a collection of the recipes, family stories, and faith that made our house feel like home. Paired with Sister Shirley’s Seasonings and More, our cookbook allows you to bring the flavors, traditions, and love of Mama’s kitchen into your own home.
Our prayer is that every meal you prepare creates new memories around your table, strengthens family bonds, and reminds you that the greatest ingredient is always love.
